Since everyone is sharing Fathers Day stories, I wanted to share mine... My father and I never had the quintessential father/son relationship. He was an old school Navy Seabee. I was an angry teenager who thought I was always a victim. Obviously, we didnt see eye to eye. Now fast forward to 1995. We were heading into Bennington, and my Dad saw me kind of bobbing my head to this song. At this point, Dad turned up the radio screaming I LIKE THIS SONG! and started kind of car dancing. Me being the A-Hole teenager I was, I acted like this was a cardinal sin against humanity. But now, I see that he was trying to identify with me. And I wish that he was around now for me to say Remember when...? So to those who have fathers still.... Please hug them on their day. Because you never know when they will leave you. I love you, and miss you, Dad.
