Since going to Satellite radio so many moons ago, I thought that Howard Stern had sufficiently crawled into the woodwork. So, it was a bit surprising to hear someone prank a cable news anchor yesterday by pretending to be someone who saw the Malaysian airplane crash. What was particularly bad was the fact that the woman doing the interview didnt seem to be listening, or comprehending, what the prankster said. So she asks him to continue to share more information. If you missed it, heres generally how it went: Interviewer: You saw the plane go down. What do you think was the reason the plane went down. Prankster: I think the plane went down due to gas from Howard Sterns @ss. Interviewer: (Seriously asks him to provide more detail). Prankster: (Insults her with something like, Youre a real dumb-@ss). Then theres an uneasy pause, followed by the interviewer ending the segment. Heres another case where it was more important to be first then correct which is a fatal mistake.
