Since i won the Miss Universe Ghana 2013 title, i thought things - TopicsExpress

Since i won the Miss Universe Ghana 2013 title, i thought things would go rosy. But on the contrary, things went from bad to worse. Now its time for me to share my true life experience with you all, especially my Kidnap experience as at 3rd of September, 2013. THE FULL STORY On the 3rd of September 2013, Miss Loretta Lois Kudjo (one of RACs employees, the manager assigned to me by the Miss Universe Ghana organizers) came to my home, with a taxi (as usual) instead of my Luxury Transportation at exactly 7:20 a.m. She told me we were going to the Russian Embassy to acquire our visa for the Miss Universe competition in Russia. I followed her, we went off and arrived at Mr P.Ys home. After waiting for him to get dressed, we picked up Mr P.Y (PapaYaw Addo Boateng Annan) from his former house at the Cantonment, Accra Ghana. We set off in another TAXI and got to the Russian Embassy. We joined the queue outside the embassy waiting for our turn. When it got to our turn, we were called inside. We were told all the requirements needed for a Russian visa. One of the requirements was to go for a required medical checkup at a particular hospital. Before we left the Embassy, Mr P.Y called Roberta Annans driver on phone to meet us at the Russian Embassy with his sisters (Roberta Annan) car. When Roberta Annans driver arrived, we left for the hospital where we were to go for the check up requested by the Russian Embassy. We didnt do the medical check up because Mr P.Y requested that we come back next time for the check up. Later we left the hospital, and Mr P.Y stopped on the way to buy a pack of food for himself before he was dropped off at his house. I thought Loretta Lois Kudjo would drop me off next. But instead, she told me that I had an appearance to make. At Mr P.Ys house, the same day, she gave me Ghc 250 cash instead of Ghc 1050 which is suppose to be my monthly cash. As the Miss Universe Ghana organization stated that I will be paid Ghc 1050 monthly. They paid me Ghc 500 in the month of June because I won the Miss Universe Ghana pageant on the 24th of May, 2013, and they promised to pay the balance later, but didnt pay me anything in the month of July and August, because Roberta Annan and Erica Yayra Nego had travelled out of Ghana for their relaxation. When they got back, they said that they found out that they didnt have much money anymore. So my monthly allowance had to be reduced to Ghc 250 against Ghc 1050, which I refused. Loretta Lois Kudjo gave me the Ghc 250 and told me to take my complain to Erica Yayra Nego (former Miss Universe Ghana 2011, RACs project manager). Loretta and I left Mr P.Ys house for the said appearance venue, only for me to find out we were at the Accra passport office. I asked Loretta if that was the venue for my appearance and she told me that if she didnt put this up as an excuse, I wouldnt have followed her. She said she only wanted to cancel her relatives passport at the Accra passport office. She left me in the car and went into the passport office, same 3rd September 2013. She spent sometime there and finally surfaced. She told me she had more errands to do, that she needed to drop a letter with RACs lawyer at Adabraka, and she also needed to pick up Papa, Miss Roberta Annans son, from school and take him to Roberta Annans Ashiaman home before taking me home. Loretta Lois Kudjo became furious and dropped me off at a bus stop at Adabraka on her way to their lawyers office. Unfortunately for me, the taxi I picked up from Adabraka carried me away from my home direction to Amasaman after shoving his gun at me when I was already seated in the taxi about two or three minutes away from where he picked me from. He requested that I co-operate with him otherwise he would shoot me. I had to co-operate. But I prayed all the way. He drove me towards Amasaman. During this journey, I was asked by the taxi driver to hand over my phone to him, which I did. The driver stated that I should hand over the cash with me. For sometime, I didnt know what they called cash, till he demanded for my handbag which I handed over to him, with the Ghc 250 and Ghc 40 inside the bag. Through out the journey, I thought I was already dead. I was so frightened. After a while, the taxi drivers phone rang and I heard him say Maame (a name being used to refer to a woman in the Ghanaian language) and later he said yoo (meaning okay). He drove for about two minutes more, then cleared off the road and told me to give him my shoes. I gave it to him and he asked me to get out of the taxi. I came down and he sped off. I was so confused. A woman noticed that I had problems and asked me if I was alright. I asked her where I was and she stated Amasaman. I told her I was kidnapped by a taxi driver who brought and dropped me off there. She tried to help me by putting me in another taxi but I was so scared. She later joined me in the taxi and took me home. I really took a risk to have joined someone I didnt know in a taxi. But I thank God she brought me home safely, God bless her so much. When I got home, my mom wasnt home. I was informed by my brother who was at home that she (my mom) was already on her way to the Nungua police station Accra to alert them so as to radio that I was missing. My mom had earlier called the OSU police station on phone, when she couldnt reach me on phone anymore. My mom had called Loretta Lois Kudjo earlier on phone, and Loretta told her that she had dropped me off about two or three hours earlier at a bus stop at Adabraka. Loretta was already at her home. My mom informed the OSU police officer the situation of things. The police officer in turn called Loretta on phone, she told him the exact bus stop at Adabraka where she had dropped me. My mom also called the owner of a notable house TV station in Accra Ghana to inform him of the situation, she also called a reputable face award winner musician to inform him of the situation, she also called on Mr Benjamin Z (who introduced me to the pageant) to alert him also, others were also called. The OSU police officer called my mom back on phone to go to the Nungua police station and let them radio that I was missing. She was on her way to the Nungua police station that night when my brother called her on phone and informed her that I was back. My mom returned home and was happy to see me. My mom followed me out the next day and quarrelled with Loretta Lois Kudjo and Erica yayra Nego about their carelessness. She wanted to speak with Mr P.Y but Loretta stated Mr P.Y was not available. Erica Nego promised my mom that they would take me to the police station for them to make an investigative entry as I was under their management for one year. They told me that they were waiting for the police boss who was not in town to return so that the case would be taken seriously. The Miss Universe Ghana organizers made up one story after the other. They delayed writing an investigative entry for more than one month. My mom insisted that I go and make the entry by myself and I did at the Amasaman and the Adabraka Police Stations respectively. The police officer at the Adabraka Police Station called the organizers on phone and demanded them to show up at the police station in order for them to help out with the investigation, but till date, they didnt show up at the police station to help with the investigation. Only for the organizers to lie against the police claiming that the kidnap case had been investigated. Imagine such guts !!! At a point, during the time I experienced trauma from the kidnap, I was rushed to the emergency unit at the 37 military hospital. The Miss Universe Ghana organizers came to the hospital to see me after they learnt that I was rushed to the hospital. After visiting me in the hospital, and after all the harm they caused me due to their carelessness, they still had the guts to state that the kidnap case was false. Imagine if I hadnt reported the kidnap case at the police station, these wicked organizers would have just lied against me successfully. Let what is written in the (Bible) book of Deuteronomy chapter 28 from verse 15 - 68 fall upon the Miss Universe Ghana pageant organizers. NOTE: THE KIDNAP CASE IS STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION... IT HAS NOT BEEN FULLY INVESTIGATED AS THE ORGANIZERS CLAIMED AND LIED AGAINST THE POLICE. SOURCE: HANNIEL JAMIN
