Since it keeps coming up lets talk about why its important to focus on the injustice that is the killing of Trayvon Martin, and why this is not the same as so-called black on black crime and why we should be concerned. First so called black on black crime has the same source as the injustice that occurred to Trayvon "the system." Black folks are still oppressed in this country and anyone who will take the time to do their scientific research rather than just spouting "what I think" will know that oppressed people have always killed one another and committed violence against one another. Read about the Irish and their response to British colonialism, they were more violent toward one another rather than their British oppressors. Frantz Fanon once explained this he pointed out that the oppressed take their anger out on one another not their oppressor. In fact they see the oppressor in one another rather than the real oppressor. Now of course you can explain so called black on black violence another way, you can simply say that blacks are just animalistic they are born that way to shoot and kill and victimize one another. Its simply in their jeans. Otherwise you could accept the fact that this is a real response to a real condition that exists for black folks.
