Since much discussion is being generated by recent utterance of Rajnath Singh wrt Heisenberg and Vedas, this link seems to be the mother lode of all the connectivity (provided one hasnt read Fritjof Capras Tao of Physics). Heisenberg is supposed to have observed Quantum theory will not look ridiculous to people who have read Vedanta. The following quote by Oppenheimer is said to have been adapted by the Bhagavad Gita, which was postulated by Heisenberg in his uncertainty principle. If we ask, for instance, whether the position of the electron remains the same, we must say “no”; if we ask whether the position of the electron changes with time, we must say “no”; if we ask whether the electron is at rest, we must say “no”; if we ask whether it is in motion, we must say “no.” – J. Robert Oppenheimer Bhahir antas ca bhutanam acaram caram eva ca| suksmatvad tad avijneyam durastham cantike ca tat|| [Within and within all living entities, that Ultimate Truth is stationary as well as mobile; on account of its being subatomic, that Ultimate Truth is incomprehensible and is far away and is yet so near.] I will not go as far as to claim that the theory of quantum physics came from the Vedas. But many German scholars did find enough in them to get resonance for their thought processes which had hitherto been guided by Cartesian philosophies. Thus, at best, what one can state is, they found the Vedas excitable. But then, any abstruse work also can. Einstein did say “If you want your children to be intelligent, read them fairy tales. If you want them to be more intelligent, read them more fairy tales.”
