Since my son was born over a month ago, I have been wearing the "father" plastic bracelet. My wife made fun of it and others have commented on it. Some have said, "O, its cause its his boy," or "He really loves his boy," etc. When I told my wife, after she was making fun of it of course, that it has been a great reminder to pray for my wife and kids, since on that day I could have lost both my wife and son because of the traumatic emergency entrance Nolan had. (I can tell that story later.) While the bracelet is not fashionably exuberant, it has served a great purpose and another reminder that God does take care of us. Therefore, tonight, it goes to rest in the trash can, only to be replaced with a great Fathers Day gift from my family. A new leather bracelet, printed on the top is, Remember: May 16, 2013, underneath stating from Olivia, Madalyn, Nolan, and Tomi. My wife is Brilliant and Priceless. My kids, all three of them, Blessings and Priceless. Me, well.......(tears) words cannot describe it. Happy Happy Happy Blessed Fathers Day to me.
