Since our alimentation is tied with agriculture, I felt that there is a lot I dont know about. Taking care of the way my family eat and being myself a vegetarian for more then 20 years there is many topic going around that are always there when it is question of healthy food or agriculture: when we think about food we think of a nice garden with veggies or trees with pears and apples or nice strawberries and blueberries. But it rarely comes into our mind that there are also forest agricultures with nuts, or olives for example. The fact is that everything is related to ecology and human actions. Listening to Mark Shepard conference on Restoration Agriculture really given me a better idea of all the big picture of all the aspects that are interrelated and I feel better where agriculture and the market of food are going. I think the key word of this video is : CONNECT. We are all connected no matter what.
