Since personally I upgraded directly from Windows XP to Windows 8, - TopicsExpress

Since personally I upgraded directly from Windows XP to Windows 8, I dont really have a legitimate opinion of why so many people hated Windows Vista, but happily embraced Windows 7. I just know that after they upgraded my work computer to Windows 7 (soon after I installed Windows 8 at home), I dont really understand the Windows 8 hate. I miss it when Im at work and have to make do without its features. I guess my feeling is that history seems ready to repeat itself. Windows 8.1 took care of the few things I didnt like about Windows 8, and my guess is that whatever version comes out next will be the one that people will embrace. Microsoft is currently hated, mocked, ridiculed, etc... about missing the tablet/smartphone revolution, but I guess I dont really see it. The 8 Windows 8.1 tablets on the market are literally complete, fully-functional PCs that can run all existing PC software, plus an operating system thats great for tablets, all for under $300. I think, maybe, I should actually put my money where my theorizing is, because Microsoft might just be perfectly positioned to do a spectacular come-from-behind dash past the competition, just like theyve done for their entire corporate history. I thing I might need to start buying some Microsoft stock.
