Since selling off the Post Office we have seen more closures, a 50% reduction in collections, price of mail going up. Now they are bleating about a universal price to deliver mail anywhere in the UK. It is not as if they have to drive thousands of miles to deliver it. The Royal Mail is obviously looking to increase prices to post to rural areas. Why is this happening? Well its not because they are investing in the infrastructure or employing more post people. Well that leaves just one reason. Yes youve guessed it, they are not making enough profits for the shareholders, that greedy minority who have enough money to invest in shares and bleed the rest of the nation to increase their wealth. It was one of the poorer decisions to privatise this service, but since when did this government care a toss about the public they are supposed to serve.
