Since several people have been asking when my new practice will be up and running, I thought Id share an update. I have moved into my office on the second floor of the Warren Cultural Center with the help of Elaine and Lynn Bohling who spent a good part of last Saturday assembling my desk and two chairs. On Wednesday Mom and her husband, Ron, helped me hang two quilts (with the help of a great idea from Karen and Penny at Fabric Creations) which has created a more homey atmosphere. The wait now focuses on being accepted on various insurance panels in order to be paid. Would you believe that Wellmark Blue Cross/Blue Shield takes two full months to credential!!!! And the application was 27 pages long! I will definitely let everyone know when Adair County Mental Health is officially open for business! I am hoping it will be very soon! Thank you for your patience.
