Since some didn’t like my postings about the movie “I”, I - TopicsExpress

Since some didn’t like my postings about the movie “I”, I just want to share a bit of what I know about movie making…feel free to correct me. I apologise to Amy Jacksons cleavage. Note: some of it I have copied from Wikipedia, surprised?, weii..who doesn’t la… 1. Director: A film director is a person who directs the making of a film. Generally, a film director controls a films artistic and dramatic aspects, and visualizes the script while guiding the technical crew and actors in the fulfillment of that vision of Amy Jackson’s cleavage. 2. Editing: The film editor works with the raw footage, selecting shots and combining them into sequences to create a finished motion picture. To snip the film so that to have more continuation shots of Amy Jackson’s cleavage. 3. Screenplay: A screenplay or script is a written work by screenwriters for a film, video game, or television program. These screenplays can be original works or adaptations from existing pieces of writing. In them, the movement, actions, expression, and dialogues of the characters are also narrated. Basically when and how to place Amy Jackson’s cleavage. 4. Cinematography: That one lah, you need to hold a camera and capture the story and also Amy Jackson’s cleavage. 5. Lighting: Amount of lights, shadow and shades controlled to suit a scene and or a feel of the story la and also to accentuate Amy Jackson’s cleavage. Etc…etc…… • Genres: categories or type of movies. Someone commented in the defense of the Tamil movie “I” that even Hollywood dish out crappy movie like Superman, Spiderman and Lord of the Rings, where the commentator implied by saying “crappy” means illogical (fantasy) movies. Only an idiot would compare apples and oranges. Sure Hollywood dish out craps. But compare with correct contoh lah. Spiderman and Superman are comics. Based on fantasy. So is Lord of The Rings. In fantasy, you can have all sort of illogical stuff, like a woman with three breasts or guy with a dick for a head, can call dick head. Unlike these movies, Shankar’s “I” is supposedly a “romantic-thriller” , an everyday guy who was injected with an virus who made him loose his good looks and ends becoming a hunchback. This is not story based on fantasy genre. This is just a love story. Editing for “I” was the weakest. The story direction was everywhere. Explanation that there is a virus called “I”, which is the title of this movie, was only explained like less than 2 minutes. I still don’t understand if people will go to that extend to kenakan seseorang. That was an insult to my intelligence. The way the transgender was ridiculed and portrayed, was an insult to all transgenders. The scene the plot to victimize Lingesan by virus injection revealed to the hunchback by all baddies and all of the laughing the villainous laugh was an insult to my intelligence, maybe Shankar took that scene with old MGR movies where Nambiar will have the villainous laugh in his mind. But this type of stylized acting doesn’t work anymore, unless if it was a satirical comedy. Can a grown man, fall in love and trust a woman and vow to marry her in less than 2days of meeting her? That was an insult to my intelligence. Would a person/ director suggest that the heroine lie to the hero that she is in love with him so that he can act better? That was an insult to my intelligence. Why need to go to all that hassle to revenge in a hard way? Why that overblown stupendous big way of getting revenge by both Lingesan and the villains? A body builder cum personal trainer who later becomes a hunchback can buy some facial creams and some chemicals can come up with body and facial growing concoction? That was an insult to my intelligence. For me, with all the hype, all that good talents and money were wasted in a Stupid movie. Shankar has made some good movies, like Gentleman, Indian, Mudhalvan , Boys etc.. etc.. But this time around, it sucks big time, except for some they were entertained by Amy Jacksons cleavage.
