Since some people dont seem to understand it... health insurance is not a gift from your employer, it is compensation... payment for services rendered. You make less cash money, because you receive health insurance. It is not your employers money paying for your health insurance benefits. It is YOUR money, earned by the work that you have done... a debt owed to you from the moment you have done the work. An employer who decides what medical benefits hell allow you, is not making decisions with HIS money. He is making decisions with YOUR money.~ My friend Brad WORD! And since it is usually at least partially paid for by the employee directly, its not even half a gift!
