Since this has been a topic of discussion, I figured this would help make it clear. When a defender catches the disc in the end zone, they can either immediately walk it up to the goal line or throw it from where they caught it. You cant establish a pivot foot and then decide to walk it up because then that would be a travel. Heres the rule from the USA Ultimate 11th Edition Rules. **However, it is different if youre on offense and receiving the disc. If the pull lands in bounds ( even in the end zone ), it has to be tapped in where it comes to rest.
