Since this is not just a jewelry finds site now, I thought Id share my finds from the 4th and from yesterday. The first two pics are of my first silver for 2015...Mercury dime in my front yard. Two silvers in the past month in my front yard. The last few pics are from yesterdays hunt. I revisited the Victorian home yesterday with my AT Pro. No silver, but did manage to rescue several nickels including an 1899 V Nickel and 1941 Jefferson Nickel. Also got a couple of Wheaties and some relics...The old chain and what looks like an axle and wheel off an old toy wagon. Also got an old shotgun shell base, a silver plated button, an old roached pocket knife and a Roger Williams arcade token. Oh, almost forgot...the last pic shows the plastic Halloween prop knife I found while digging a signal...never know what youll find when youre detecting. I worked the yard about an hour into dark. Pretty sure this yard was cherry picked back in the 80s...all the modern clad I find is 90s and newer and nothing before the 90s except the nickels and a few pennies. So, looks like the Mercury I rescued on Christmas day was it for silver in this yard. It still has good potential for relics possibly and I may visit it again in the Spring but not going to count on finding any more silver there.
