Since we have had several people ask, we do offer several different Rush Protocols for allergy shots. These Rush Protocols, available at CAC for the last 7 years, allow us to build up patients to effective doses in a short period of time. The original rush protocol, is a one day, eight hour build up to maintenance doses. Modified/Cluster rush involves coming in twice a week for 2-3 sets of shots for 4-5 weeks to reach the maximum effective dose. And finally, our Mini-Rush protocol involves coming in once a week, but receive 2 sets of injections over one hour. This allows us to reach the maximum dose in 4 months.
