Since we’re in the middle of the twelve days of Groundhog, perhaps a few words about AntiiGravityGear’s observance of this most significant holiday are in order. Seven years ago Matthew Lagas-Rivera and I were out running errands on February 2nd. It was mid-day and I suggested we stop at a Mexican restaurant for lunch. At the time Matthew and I were AGG’s only employees and I sprung for lunch with an offhand remark that Groundhog Day was an AGG paid holiday. The next year, in true Bill Murray fashion, we again ate lunch at a Mexican restaurant and the tradition was born. Every year since we’ve made a point of eating Mexican food with past and present AGG staff. This year we’ll again celebrate with Matthew (founder of Elemental Horizons), Heather, and the newest member of the AntiGravityGear team, Carolyn Mejia. We’re also giving away some free gear to our Facebook fans and announcing new products. A fitting way to celebrate only 6 more weeks of winter! -Tin Man
