Since yall know my whole life now and everyone has expressed support, advice, concern and dismay, I decided I will continue to give you insight into my life so you can support me. Posting the other night and being vulnerable and open gave me the power I needed to stand firm for me. Things with me and Cole are complex and very intertwined and we are not throwing anything away. I was ready to say we want different things. I love you and I cant do it your way. We can still work together but I cant do this anymore. He suggested we do a research project of 60 days of monogamy (stop judging now) so that we can each focus on ourselves and see if we can create more independence and find the fuel we need to do this in a way that works for both of us. So for the next 60 days it is for me to connect with friends, do my own thing and get back to me. And the same for him, except we are not venturing out. I dont know how it will end, but I would like to include you in supporting me to get back to myself. Especially my girlfriends. Lets make plans! I work a ton but I am making time for me.
