Since yesterday i am in BHU campus Varanasi, today i attended a beginning lecture on Human Values and Education it was for Ph.D students and Prof. Rajeev Sangal took the lecture. Prof Sangal je is Director of BHU . He asked most of the students about the goal of education, some students replied with bookly while a few with honesty . Those who honest replied job is the ultimate goal .....all agreed and cope with this truth. Pro. Sangal ji concluded that with out values in education we are unable to bring a prosperous and peaceful society. later i think , is job an ultimate goal of education?... if yes so there is no need to achieve higher education because most top class business men were initially educated. I mean to say if money making is the ultimate goal of todays youth so why we are wasting our time in universities. ....this was already proven by established top businessman. And if not, so why students are not reflacting values in their interactions with society. To preserve and propagate values in education is the current task, we must take accountability for all such situations if students arent following the values. Please suggest.
