Sindh civil societies’ rallies Demand of creation of new provinces supported NAWABSHAH, 22-09-2014: In support of MQM Chief Altaf Hussain’s demand of creation of new provinces, the civil societies of Nawabshah, Thatta, Sajawal and Dhabeji took rallies and held demonstrations. A huge number of people gather outside of Nawabshah Press Club demanding for the creation of new provinces. The prominent Sindhi personalities, including Sajjad Mir Jeet, Jumman Memon, Gul Hassan and former councilor Badruddin Sheikh attended the demonstrations and supported the demand. Meanwhile, a rally at Thatta Press Club, a rally from Sheikh Majeed Sindhi Colony to Dhabeji Press Club and a rally from Sajawal Bhatoro Bus Stop to District Press Club Sajawal were held in favour of the creation of new provinces. The speakers, on the occasion, said that if the new provinces would be created in the country then there should also be in Sindh. They said that the people in Sindh unambiguously supported MQM Chief’s demand for creation new provinces to maintain good governance. They termed that some malice elements tried to divert Mr. Hussain’s demand into an ethnic version. They said that the demand for the creation of new provinces was lawful and the need of the time.
