Sing! Play! Pray! A two-day event for parish musicians A team of outstanding musicians and workshop leaders are gathering in Ludington to present this event in the northern half of the Diocese. Friday night, October 10th, 7:00–9:00 PM, St. Simon Church, Ludington This is a musical event open to pastors, musicians, and everyone in the parish who wants to sing. We’re going to spend the evening exploring the music of the church: hymns, psalms and spiritual songs from throughout the ages. Some old favorites and some brand new. Don’t read music? Not a problem. Our team of leaders are experts at getting folks to sing—all you need do is be there. The evening will end with a brief Taizé prayer, using music we’ve learned during the session. Simply put, this is a musical experience, an opportunity to enjoy sacred song with a whole lot of other folks who share this passion. There is no charge for this event. A free-will offering will be taken at the door. Saturday morning, October 11th, 8:30 AM–Noon, St. Simon Church, Ludington This is the workshop part of the weekend.
