Singles & Partners Ministry(spm)The principle of keeping your heart(Proverb 4:23)Above all else,,guard your affections.(heart)For they influence everything else in your life. The greatest problem we have today in the body of Christ is not the devil but, we refused to take God by his laid down rules in the manual(Bible) .The above scripture ask us in taking defensive measure because your heart condition affects all you do in life. To guard is to watch/shield.Affection means:feelings of fondness or liking.What is God telling us,single or married protect your feelings against emotional surgery that will surface in the midst of chasing love.The responsibility of safeguarding your emotions is in your hands not God.God will grant you Grace, while the keeping is your defensive measure He ask you to take.But generation of my own way, reverse is the case of giving our heart to a man/woman we want to spent our lives with.God said,keep,protect & shield that heart he gave us not to throw it to human beings.dont tell me someone break your heart,you know why?God ask you to keep it,you went ahead to give it to a man that changes per second & minute.anytime you & i break Gods word,we break our lives,emotions,friendship,career,academics,business etc The Bible said,Jesus knew the heart of men,so he never commit his heart to them.If we take Gods word for granted,we ll be grounded.The more we draw close to Christ on a daily bases by studying his word,we become more successful in all areas of endeavours.But the problem is,people give their heart and tell their partner do not tour with my heart.he/she is not God who is reliable & truth.the reason you live is for God not the man or woman.keep serving the Savior(Jesus) Jesus is the answer.we need Him in everything not some.get connected to the vine(Christ)
