Sintra National Palace (Royal Palace or Palace of Vila) Consisting of several bodies built over successive seasons, is one of the most important examples of Portuguese architecture realenga and therefore classified as a National Monument. This palace has probable origin in primitive Moorish palace of walis. Current traces from two steps works: the first, in the reign of John I (XV century), the second in the reign of Manuel I (sixteenth century). It has the largest collection of Mudejar tiles of the country. It is dominated by two large twin chimneys that crown the kitchen and up the "ex-libris" of Sintra. Portugal
