Sitting here at work listening to a few people talk about where they were on 9/11 this brought back many memories of my own... as one finished they looked over to the next person and said So,where were you? He started off with I was on my way to work after running a few errands that morning. As I was driving down the highway listening to the radio hearing how tragedy hit New York I looked out my car window and noticed a plane flying low. I thought to myself.. something was not right, theres an airport nearby but this was not right. About 1 minute later there was a huge explosion and black smoke filled the sky. Then he began to explained that he worked at the Pentagon. He then said Quickly roads were closed as they rerouted us back to where we came from. I tried to call my fellow colleagues only to find out that the lines were down. Soon I was able to connect with them and asked what i could do... all they wanted was for me to call their families and let them know they were ok. Later he found out the plane hit where they were working on a project and among the the many injured and deceased he learned that out of those who had been working on the same project with him 10 colleagues lives were taken and mentioned a few that he kept up with had suffered from their injuries for many years. On his way home he called his son at college to let him know he was ok and headed to his daughters school to hold her.... Never in my life did I think I would be hearing this today... So forgive those you have not forgiven, tell those you love that you love them, pray for those that are lost and hurting, rejoice in the life your given and praise God for all He has done, make a difference.
