Sitting here at work wondering what might be happening at home. I was rudely awakened a bit early from my pre-work nap by a rather active cat jumping around my room. Krystal loves to catch flies, so I thought nothing of it. I begrudgingly got up and was startled by the size of said "fly." It was black, but, it was roughly the size of my hand! I had a BAT in my bedroom!!! I managed to sequester said bat in small room that serves as a walk in closet. Unfortunately, the door does not shut tight. I used a stretchy hairband between the closet doorknob and an adjacent doorknob. So, hopefully the door stays closed and the bat does not escape. Otherwise, I may return home to all kinds of destruction if the cats spend the night trying to catch it. Or worse, there is a confrontation that involves blood. So, I also sit here hoping all is quiet at home and the cats are OK.......
