Sitting here reflecting on the years past,and remembering the better times when our family was whole,when my Allen was still here,.i remember the times he would buy things and hide it right under my nose! It may be in a grill in the work shop,or in our bedroom,but the main thing was the Christmas tree its self.i would be looking for things all over the place,and it would be right in the tree,right under my nose!he was the perfect hider!well,maybe except the time he forgot the wagon box Santa forgot to carry with him,my favorite memories are when the kids would get up way too early on Christmas day,and we would say,go back to the bedrooms un till we have our coffee,and of course he would drag that out as long as possible..the kids would be creeping up the hall way,so ready to get to the presents,and we would say ,ok now yall,let me correct my self,Allen would say,yous can come in now and we would sit in the floor,and I would call each present out,in line of course,to each kid,and Allen ,and watch them open them.one of my favorite memories was the year we got the Nintendo game system,Allen loved it more than the kids,they would play so much,and Allen would lose his people on the game,and I remember our little boy hearing and learning a few choice words!LOL,and the girls playing,and their dad beating them,and them yelling to me Daddys cheating!lol,those years as a family was and always will be the best Christmases ever,the place in our hearts are still empty where he was ,and the pain still remains,but I know he would be so proud and happy if he were here with us.. the kids we made together are good kids,and he would be happy our grandkids are so much like him.she same sense of humor,morbid as it may be,he would have been the greatest grandfather,we love you Allen,we miss you always,as we always sign our letters and cards,always,and forever,love me,merry Christmas in heaven my love,
