Sitting here sorting photos, I had a minor epiphany about how far Ive come as a photographer in the last 6-7 years. I remember way back when I could barely book shoots because nobody wanted to work with a newb, couldnt frame a shot to save my ass, didnt know how to light a shot, couldnt build a team, and my biggest concern coming out of a shoot was if I even got a single usable shot. Fast-forward several years, and Im regularly doing 3-6 shoots a weeks, with amazing subects/models who I love working with; Ive forgotten more than some ever knew about composition; lighting seems like a simple skill (most of the time); Ive got a kick-ass crew helping me; and I now have to worry about how Im going to find time to process all the awesome shots Ive gotten. Man, its been a wild ride, and it just keeps getting more awesome! Two amazing shoots in two days. Lets see if we can go 3-for-3 tomorrow!
