Sitting here thinking that I am going to miss my son when he leaves the nest. He is kind, he is compassionate, he loves his Momma. He looks nothing like me, but has my stubbornness, my love for family and people. He is good to old people and babies. He has my temper, and sometimes we go toe to toe even though he is a foot taller than me. I see myself when I look into his eyes. I just pray he takes the right path in his youth and doesnt waste his blessings like I did in my youth. God has brought us far, and blessed us greatly. I love you Elijah Kay, and all your brothers who have come through this house.
