Sitting here today thinking of how my heart and my life has changed since I got saved. This thought is weighing on my heart heavy today. I am sitting here Thinking of all my family and friends that I love dearly who need God in their lives. They are lost in this world. I was reading some statistics that said only 2 percent of church members invite an unchurched person to church. 98 percent never offered an invitation to anyone to the house of The Lord in a whole year of the study. The study showed that 75-90 percent of the unchurched came because they were invited by someone......so people do come through those doors in part because of YOU!!!!!!! 62 percent of people who once belonged to a church are willing to go again if only they were invited by someone who attends the church. And 7 out of 10 unchurched people have NEVER been invited to church before in their lives!!!! These particular people stated they would have come if they had been given one thing....a simple invitation. I remember when I was first invited to church by Amanda Mines and I know I wouldnt have just went without her personal invitation to me. So praise The Lord I did go and it changed my life forever. Church, we as Christians that are born again, we shall be HIS witness to others. Invite someone you love, a family member, friend, neighbor. And when people visit your church welcome them and nurture them with love just as Jesus Christ would do. I believe in an awakening and revival in our area and it starts with YOU!!! We were not saved to be silent......Invite them to your church, wherever it may be, and let GOD do the rest!!!!!!!! Luke 14:23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.
