Sitting in a hotel room watching Mission: Impossible II. Why? Because its on. What a load of horsecrap. Every episode in the Matrix is more plausible than this crap. Apparently: - Everything in the MI universe is highly explosive. - All of the highly explosive stuff in the MI universe can be easily detonated with bullets. - The bad guy teams are composed entirely of myopic, mentally deficient goons who do not possess even the most basic security training and yet they can decode complex movement and attack patterns from simple hand signals. - When faced with the opportunity for a simple and direct blow during already unnecessary hand to hand combat, you take the opportunity to execute complex and physically challenging aerobatics to deliver a much less damaging blow. - Tom Cruise can apply a totally convincing full-head mask to himself and his prisoner and then mimic the prisoners voice so convincingly that even people who have spent the last 180 hours in direct contact with him will not recognize it. I could go on for hours...but whats the point.
