Sitting next to my dear momma holding her hand. Last Tuesday we went to the ER for pain and sudden onset confusion. On Wednesday we find out she has cancer in her ribs, spine and left lung. Each day she has declined so rapidly. We are in hospice at Autumn Square tonight. This place and staff are amazing and love on our loved ones as they spend their last days on earth. These people are Mother Teresa workers!! The Lord will soon be getting a special angel. She really has been such a good momma and worked hard to give my brother and I everything she could, which was not much based on her income. She has buried her husband and her son. I am proud to be her daughter. She has one glorious grand daughter who she loves unconditionally. Please hug the ones you love. You never know what tomorrow will bring. I have been a nurse for 40 years and I have never seen cancer take over like this. Edna is going to see our Heavenly Father. She has mentioned many of those that have gone before her. Do you think she can see them?? What a glorious day it will be!!! I love you Edna Johnson, my sweet mother!!
