Sitting with comfort... In my mind, the gifts that I shared And how blessed I am Brought me to the part of my past, Where sorrow reigned over happiness. And tears found its way to leave the guard of my eyes. Memories of crying, asking, and accepting the judgmental claims of people, both young and old, that surrounded me were pictured in my senses. Then, with the magnitude of innocence... My youngest sibling just smiled. And the sweet THANK YOU marked an end to my fragile reminiscence. I said to myself, God forbid those days to become realities again. I shall not lose every challenge. Prosperity will be my aim and Happiness will be my triumph. I will continue to be a blessing, and will keep my feet in moving forward. Memories of the saddest past may continue to haunt me but I shall never fail to put my faith unto Him, to believe that I can, to find goodness in every person I met and will meet and finally, I shall never fail to be the person that I wanted to become. #harvestingthetruth #hearttohearttalkwithmybrother #reflection20141230
