**Situation Update** Last night was an extremely challenging time for all our guests and staff due to the sheer volume of people stranded in the Alps, either trying to get to resort or returning to the UK. We managed to accommodate the majority of our customers in specific overnight accommodation but unfortunately we were unable to accommodate everyone. With roads being closed due to weather, accidents and sheer volume of traffic, the conditions were extreme and unprecedented. Current situation For guests still waiting to travel to resort, we have succeeded in securing coaches and finding drivers and these are now trying to reach our guests. However due to the road blockages, accidents and levels of snow and ice on the roads there are traffic delays across the entire area. For guests returning to the UK, we have arranged for a number of coaches to transport customers back throughout today. Again, with the current major volumes of traffic in the surrounding area, we are experiencing further delays. Once again, Skiworld would like to assure our guests that we are working very hard to get everyone to resort or back to the UK as quickly as possible. We will be updating our Facebook page as and when we have further information.
