Six Vice-Chancellors removed from their posts in the last four years at the University of Mauritius. It is learnt that students need not have their H.S.C certificate to become a graduate or even a barrister in Mauritius. There are comments coming from students from the University of Mauritius that you can walk in even without a school certificate and come out as a graduate. It is in line with government objective to make every household have a graduate. At the World University Web Ranking ,Mauritius University plunges dowm from its 37th position to the 97th.
