Six-month research training Applications are invited from exceptional post graduate science students of universities/institutions/colleges of repute for the six-month research training programme of the Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB), to carry out their project work towards partial fulfilment of post graduate degrees, for the session commencing January 2014. The training programme for post graduate students of professional courses can be considered for a duration of one year. The terms and conditions are as follows: The candidates must have passed all examinations starting from secondary school examination in first division or equivalent grade (at least 60% marks). The candidates should get their requests forwarded through their Heads of departments/colleges/institutions. The candidates will have to make their own local arrangement for accommodation and other logistics. RCB will not bear any liability whatsoever in this regard. The candidatesare not entitled to any remuneration, stipend or fellowship. The candidates will have to abide by the conduct rules applicable to RCB employees, for the entire duration of the training. Applications for the session starting in January 2013 from interested eligible students through their respective colleges/universities/institutions should be received by the office of Registrar, RCB (email: [email protected]) by 30th September, 2013. A list of selected candidates will be displayed on the RCB website by 31st October, 2013 and the candidates will have to give their acceptance within a fortnight, failing which the waitlisted candidates may be considered. The decision of the Executive Director of the Centre will be final in this regard.
