Six weeks before winter officially begins, Ive already got winter chores down to a science.... Rabbit herd is half what it was last year (mostly wheat, little chaff!), and equine herd is down to 7, too. Neighbor gave me a nifty pair of waterproof gloves today, and truck has enough Prestone to keep it running to 50 degrees below zero. Have decided to splurge a little and burn less wood, turn the heat up more often. As the old song proclaimed, If we make it through December.... Thats my hope!
