Six years ago to the day I joined the military, the national guard to be exact, I knew nothing about it. I just wanted some purpose, I wanted college paid for, I wanted to see what I was made of. Today I am a proud soldier, NCO, combat veteran and EMT in my civilian life. I found an entity larger than life and am proud to say Ive met or exceeded the standard it has set ( Ill let my superiors decide). To those before me, thank you and God Bless all of you for instilling such pride in my comrades and myself. To those who serve with me, wavering times are ahead but remember to pave the RIGHT way for those who will serve after us, it is our duty. I will continue to be of service to the military, for this land is my home and the people of this land is where my heart lies. Lord willing I will keep moving forward for the next six years.
