Ski Jumping for #50Sports was simply amazing!!!! Jacqui, Ben and I all learned how to Ski Jump today in Germany with a terrific coach, former World Cup competitor and head trainer for the Partenkirchen Ski Club, Fabian Ebenhoch. After Fabian took us through a series of drills and practice landing runs, Jacqui and I jumped twice off the 20 metre ramp and Ben also jumped twice off a smaller ramp, he showed real courage to take it on after just one coaching session. Jacqui had rough landings both jumps and crashed heavily on the second jump but came out mostly unhurt amd weas a real trooper. I was really proud of her. I have to say it was amongst the toughest sporting challenges I’ve ever faced to push off the seat to go down the ramp, but wow, what a rush! Anyway the pics will be up tomorrow and maybe some video in the coming days. Next off we start serious Alpine Skiing in Sunday and attend yet another World Championship on Tuesday night after all day Tuesday skiing with former World Champ Frank Worndl. This ride just gets better and better. Cheers.
