Skills Development Facilitator, Salary range:Highly Negotiable Department:Human Resources Commencement Date: As soon as possible Summary Our Company, a leader in the Trailer Manufacturing Industry requires the services of a Skills Development Facilitator. The ideal candidate will for our purposes be qualified as a SDF and will have as his/her main mission to (1) administrate and monitor all training administration (2) assist with grants, tax concessions and skills development levies (3) assist with BBBEE Development Initiatives (3) annually submit the ATR and WSP (4) Develop the Training function in the Company. Qualifications Matric (essential) Tertiary Skills Qualification (essential) Facilitator/Assessor/Moderator Qualified (advantageous) Code 8 driver license and reliable transport (essential). Residing in the area or do not mind travelling to work. Computer Literacy in MS Office (essential) VIP Payroll (preferable) Experience Experience between 1-4 years is essential. 5 years’ or more experience will be advantageous. Specific Attributes Well-spoken in English Sociable and pleasant Willing and able to work irregular and long hours Hardworking, dedicated, committed and loyal Punctual at all times Well presented. Able to perform well under pressure Trustworthy – keep all HR information confidential at all times (this requirement is critical) Duties Draft, implement, monitor and manage a suitable Company Skills Development Strategy that will conform to the needs of the organisation. Establish, maintain and develop the Skills Development function/strategy in the Company. Align the Skills Development Function with the BBBEE Strategy. Explore, identify, implement and manage learnerships and Apprenticeships with immediate effect to support the BBBEE Scorecard. Conduct a skills gap analyses to determine the skills status/shortages in the Company. Suggest effective initiatives to alleviate the skills shortages. Draft the annual ATR and Skills Development Plan as well as submission thereof. Manage the effective claiming of all grants (mandatory, discretionary and other). Communicate with MERSETA and all other applicable role players. Develop, implement and manage a proper Skills Database in conjunction with the Payroll Department to ensure capturing and storing of qualifications. Maintain, update and improve the Payroll qualification system. Establish, maintain and develop a Company Training Centre. Monitor, manage and administrate all internal training. Monitor, manage and administrate all external training. Research and draft SOP’s wrt the full training function.
