Skin tags Skin tags are those little moles that hang from the skin; they are flesh colored and tend to get cough on necklaces and clothing. They grow very commonly around the neck, under arms, under the breast area, the inner thighs or groin area. Skin tags appear very commonly during pregnancy and/or when patients gain weight. They can be hereditary and they typically don’t cause skin cancer. One thing is for certain, they can cause a lot of pain and suffering. They can be treated very easily, either with liquid nitrogen “freezing” or by “snipping them off” with intralesional numbing medicine. Ronald A. Rodriguez, PA-C
