Report an Incident Involving this Product Recall Details Description WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Best Buy are warning consumers that 10 different recalled products continued to be sold or were resold by Best Buy, Magnolia stores and liquidators Best Buy Private Auction, CowBoom and TechLiquidators nationwide, and online at bestbuy, after they were recalled in 2012 and 2013. This involves about 200 units of the recalled products and an undetermined number of recalled Canon cameras. The recalling firms listed below fully complied with the negotiated terms of their original recall. Consumers should stop using the recalled products immediately and contact the recalling firms listed to receive the remedies listed in the recall, which is either a refund, replacement or repair. It is illegal to resell or attempt to resell a recalled consumer product. Canon EOS Rebel T4i Digital Cameras Recall Date: August 14, 2012 Original Sale Dates: June 2012 through July 2012 Press Release #: 12-246 Hazard: A chemical used in the cameras rubber grips can result in a reaction that changes the grips from black to white and poses a risk of skin irritation to the consumer.
