Skrtel was boss yesterday, made some valuable clean tackles. Mignolet too was great, made some fantastic saves, importantly he seemed confident. Emre Can had some good runs, but playing him out of position aint gonna help the team, giving him defensive duty will pave way for Gerrard to go box to box. Joe Allen can hold the ball, no doubt on his holding capacity but neither he creates goalscoring opportunities nor he himself goes up with confidence. He kept loosing the ball in final third. Lovren was just average, but he can do better. Balo was impressive but not clever enough in 18 yard box. He should have scored at least 3 goals. I felt that he is lacking confidence, was looking for penalty every time he got ball in box. With his physically strong build up he should have dominate the opposition s central halves. Lambert and he are more or less same kindaa player, more finisher and less creater so playing them together wont bring positive effect. Play him with creative forward like Sturridge who can get deep , collect the ball and create the chances. Lots of positive signs but still not happy with the attackers.
