Slain in the spirit? Lets turn it around and SLAY THE SPIRIT of false prophets using the sword of SOUND DOCTRINE! 1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of YHWH: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Now, have you ever read in your Bible about being slain in the spirit? How about a laughing spirit? Did the HOLY Spirit even once make anybody in the Bible roll on the floor or flop around like a fish out of water? No? Then we have TRIED these spirits whether they are of YHWH, and guess what: FAILED! FAILED! FAILED! FAILED! FAILED! No, Im not saying it isnt a spirit making you do those things. Im just saying that these spirits are NOT HOLY. Yes, there were spirits in the Bible that would overtake people causing them to be out of their right mind, but such spirits were usually CAST OUT.
