Slavery in America was especially heinous in the history of world slavery and there are still residual effects from it in our society. I am actually in favor of reparations for disadvantaged African Americans in the form of sensible Affirmative Action programs and subsidized education for inner city black youth. I am completely opposed however to just handing black folk a check and race based programs that allow rich African kids to gain free access to American colleges because they happen to have black skin. Id love to discuss others intelligent opinions rather than just hearing them call me a racist.
