Sleeping...dozing...reading at Topsail Beach...blessed rest. It is a week of Sabbath. Rocky woke me up from an after dinner nap to take Fiona out for a beach walk. I was so deep, rocked and lulled by days of the constancy of ocean and sun. We go outside, the wind is up, tide is coming in, and the dark sky is so expansive and full of stars. I am so open in my just coming back to consciousness state and so moved by the beauty, the power, the infinity of all that is displayed. I could feel my heart extend out. I extended my arms out and up as a prayer, as if to hold a lover, the universe, to give and receive love, to express gratitude. I am changed.
