Sleepless in Ottawa once again ... my loyal little puppy dreaming at my side. Another night of NCIS re-runs make insomnia much better, who can get enough of Mark Harmon? Right Angela ??? Sitting here surrounded by quiet its a good time to think of all the things to be thankful for; just because Thanksgiving is over shouldnt mean we neednt be thankful every day. Whether it is for the big things or the simple little things, I am grateful. For the smile from the old gentleman across the street in the retirement home when Harper rushed over to greet him, for the lovely couple who live in the building who always stop to chat on their evening strolls, for the wonderful mailman who delivered my mail to my new address last week, for my sweet friend, John who drops over with fig jam just because he knew I loved it. I could go on forever ... suffice to say every smile means so much. I am grateful ... and I intend to pay it forward each and every day ...
