Slight Change To Prices At The Pumps Posted By Sheena Lynch On Thursday 19 September, 2013, There’s a slight change in prices of some petroleum products. Word from the energy division of the Ministry of Finances is that the price change took effect yesterday. On mainland Grenada, gasoline goes down by 12 cents to $16.12. Diesel moves from 15.78 to fifteen dollars and ninety seven cents. Kerosene moves from twelve dollars and four cents to 12.47cents. The price of a 20-pound cylinder remains the same; forty-five dollars. The 100-pound cylinder goes up by six dollars and seventy three cents to $271.05. Bulk consumers will have to pay two dollars and seventy-seven cents per pound. In Carriacou, gasoline goes down from sixteen dollars and forty one cents to sixteen dollars and twenty-eight cents. Diesel from 15.94 to 16.13 and Kerosene is increased by 43 cents and will be sold at twelve dollars and sixty-four cents. There’s no change to the price of a 20-pound cylinder in Carriacou and Petite Martinique. It remains at fifty-four dollars. Like in Grenada, the 100-pound cylinder is increased by six dollars and seventy three cents to $294.05 cents. Bulk in Carriacou and Petite Martinique will be two dollars and seventy-seven cents per pound. In Petite Martinique, gasoline at the pumps will be reduced by 12 cents and will be sold at 13 dollars and 28 cents. Diesel will now be sold at $13.13. The price of Kerosene in Petite Martinique moves from 12.21 cents to 12 dollars and 64 cents a gallon. The new Retail Prices are computed based on the average FOB costs: that is; (Ex-refinery prices), for the period, 13th August, 2013 to 10th September, 2013.
