Slovakia to provide further financial help in fighting Ebola BRATISLAVA, Oct. 26 (PNA/Xinhua) -- Slovakia plans to provide some 90,000 euros (114,000 U.S. dollars) to countries affected by Ebola to help with the construction of field hospitals, the foreign ministry said on Saturday. Its for tents, beds, sheets, lighting, towels, generators, sinks and toilets, Peter Susko, head of the press department at Slovak foreign ministry, said. The plan was initiated by Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak, who asked other ministries to draft options of potential aid in the fight against Ebola, said Susko. Slovakia first provided financial help in the fight against Ebola via the World Health Organization, sending 15,000 euros (19,000 U.S. dollars) from the development aid program in mid-September.
