Slow Cooked Beef Brisket RECIPE: Beef (Camto) Oyster Sauce Soy Sauce Star Anise Garlic Onion Pepper 2 tsp sugar Sesame Oil Bakchoy (Thai Pechay) PROCEDURE: 1. Mix oyster sauce, soy sauce, pepper and sugar. Marinate beef overnight or atleast 2hrs. 2. Remove marinated beef and set aside the remaining sauce mixture. 3. Sear beef for 5mins. Set Aside. 4. in a seperate pot transfer the beef, pour on the remaining sauce marinate, add hot water just enough to cover the beef. 5. Put the star anise, pepper, garlic and onion. You can add more oyster sauce or soy sauce. 6. Let it simmer for 2-3hrs or until beef is tender. (1hr pressure cooker) 7. turn off the fire and put sesame oil. 8. Poach the bakchoy for a few minutes and serve it on top of the beef. For a cheaper/healthy version of this recipe you can use Cara Beef, i tried using it and it taste exactly like beef. Best served with Chili sauce w/ Calamansi and soy sauce. =) If you want to make your own chili sauce, heres the recipe. Chili (labuyo) Lots of Garlic 1tbsp butter Olive oil (any oil is ok) soy sauce Saute garlic until golden brown, turn off the fire and put the chilis and soy sauce. Best to to eat if PANGAT.... pangatlong init. hahaha!
