Slow down and focus on the basics, wise words that are so often ignored. If you have a horse you have him for fun and enjoyment too. Enjoy the journey to get to the final destination. And to enjoy this journey you need to take your time. Learn the basics correctly yourself and teach them to your horse. If the horse says no or seems unhappy ask yourself why? And try find the answer. And remember an athlete can only do certain functions once its body is strong and the correct muscles have been built over time not weeks.
