Slowly rolls up his guitar hero shred cloak and tucks it away in the box of useless things. I think I have at least for a time, outgrown my habits of solo rock and so on, I dont really have any tangible explanation, other than having moved here and experienced so much life change that I no longer view it as a form of therapy I need. I picked up a lot of country, mostly outlaw feel lately and I am kinda just enjoying that for a while I guess. It was a sad time in the 90s with the inception of grunge, and the smaller and smaller needs for the craft I spent years developing. I was thinking about this a lot yesterday and how lately I have no desire to play solo stuff anymore and the fact that now most of my playing is acoustic based with vocals, and that I get much more fulfillment out of that.
